16th February 2011, wednesday..

the day started well.. took my time to wake up as i dont need to be at work.

instead, i needed to be at Hong Kah North CC for a "paid" course.

had breakfast at McDonalds before taking the train to Gombak.

McGriddles. yummy. a little too hot though..

took the train thinking that i could sit down but ended up being in sardines express.

reached Gombak and much to my dismay, i was early.

very early, actually.

the course started off with a few people being late.

i didnt care. i got a perfect sit in the middle of the class.

class was draggy.

i felt asleep many times.

i even finished my trusty Mentos in half an hour.

lunch break was only half an hour.

it was raining.

i felt fucked.

nonetheless, i managed to get indian fried rice and sat down eating.

fast forward to 5pm, i left the community centre.

walked to the train station at Gombak and took the train to Yishun.

walked to the hospital to visit my mom who's still in hospital.

ouh, she was admitted since Sunday. high blood pressure thingy.

get well soon mom.

i miss u.

we miss u.

reached hospital and met my uncles and aunties who came to pay her a visit.

she still need to be admitted until Monday. the least.

she's not happy about it.

i'm not happy about it.

but nevermind.

my Sayang is sick today. MC for both today and tomorrow.

i miss her too.

i wanna type so much here but i just dont have the mood.

i got so many things to complain about but i come to realise that, i, too, take things for granted.

i miss my mom.

i know it's been a while since i've last updated this blog of mine so i guess it's about time to wipe the dust...

nothing much.. work and stuff...

been stress at work due to the fact that there's low manpower for the time being because of reservist...

we really need to employ a new staff.. soon.

july has been a month where i'm stress most of the time. infact, it's not even halfway pass the month.

i'm just taking everythin slowly. one step at a time.

i can't hope for everything but i can just hope for the best i guess...

let's sidetrack to other things shall we?

after that, went to G2000 to get a new pair of black jeans..
about time..

walked towards orchard after that and went to Orchard Central..
still got LOTS to update in that place..
so big yet so little shops..
sheesh..

walked towards Far East and went window shopping there..
sayang bought herself a new jacket..
nice..
she rocked it well..
of course..

went to ION after that and discovered that Faber Castell is one hell of a color pencil which rich people use..
ahahahahhahahahahahhaha..

went back to Far East after that to catch the bus towards Esplanade..
saw the gun salute, saw the flying helicopters and also the national flag being flown with the national anthem being played..

i actually stood in SEDIA position when the national anthem is being played..

after that, went for dinner at Marina Square..
i had nasi lemak while sayang had indian food..
saw the fireworks..
it was beautiful...

went back home after that..
really had fun with sayang the whole day yesterday..

10 years...

hmmm...

i wanna blog somethin bout myself.. well its my blog anyways..

when i was in sec one, it was 1999.. i was influenced by the sounds of limp bizkit and whatsoever and becoz of one particular track by them, which was N2 Gether Now, me and a few of my friends decided to form up a crew called Skitzofranics..

our very first performance was in school in 2001.. there was this talentime thingy..
got the very best response and then decided to join platform which was held at Tha Wu Bar..

becoz of Platform, we were given many different opportunities to perform at many other events...
it was happening..

my crewmates sign on to the army and then i was the onli one who is still active..

i decided to go solo and for my very first solo performance, it was kinda pathetic but i was soon recognised after that..
thank god.. :)

10 years is quite long and i really can't wait to be part of the event this coming saturday..
can't wait to meet yall this saturday also!!!!!!!

anyways...

yesterday was a living nightmare for me...

after work, as usual, met my sayang and this time we wanted to get tickets for Angels and Demons and also to watch Star Trek..
got the tickets and then bought nachios cheese and eat them before going in to the cinema..

before ALL that though, during work, i had a big headache that could make me fall down anytime so when Jenny (colleague) know about it, she offered me panadols..
even though i know that i'm allergic to panadols, i took it as i really cannot bear the pain..

so yea, when sitting down waitin for the movie to start, my head was itchy..
and it became worst when my face also start to become itchy..
i got worried so i went to the toilet.

when i looked at myself on the mirror, my whole face was bloated..
SHEESH!!!

went back into the cinema and asked sayang to leave the cinema and then we went to SGH at Outram..

well.. when the doctor see me, she scolded me for taking somethin which i'm allergic to..
wat.... :(

anyways, they gave me a jab and also some pills and after a few hours in the observation ward, i got better..

sayang stayed the whole night with me...

thank you sayang.. i love u so much..

got discharged around 2am and then we just stayed overnight at the hospital till 5.30am to take the first train back home..

we met again at around 4pm to go to the Mammoth Photoshoot at the Supreme Court..
quite a good turnout but i know there's more than that amount that could come but didnt..

nevermind then..

tomorrow is a sunday..
slack day i guess.

sayang coming over to my place.. just gonna have some family time..

i think it was the first time i spread the news so fast.

so yesterday, i went to CGH together with anis and sallihin.
met up with ryo and fana there.

so right after that, we left around 8pm like that..
went to the mall next to simei mrt and chilled..

fatal was tellin everyone about his bday for this coming friday and celebratin it on saturday, so i decided to let him record a video to promote the event.

and the show really went on impromptu..
people was sitting down and becoz of one comment made by one audience, everyone stand up leaving all the chairs to the side..

i got hold of Young's album right after i watched him performing 2 of the songs in his album.
unbelievably nice.

right after impromptu, most of us went to plaza singapura and get dinner at mcdonalds..
went to istana park for the indulgence.

me, firwan and raudah went to zouk as firwan got free passes...
so we went there and there was the Gatsby dance competition..
many faces i know there.. including my ex-sgts...

for the afterparty, we only could party at Zouk but not phuture, but luckily as my cousin work there as a bouncer, we get to get into phuture..
and yea.. we had fun..

Boys Day Out and Recording at Wallwork

on sunday, i had the most coolest day out ever..
went out with wan faris, sallihin and fiky..
firstly went to marina south pier..
had my alone time there.. it was very nice..

from there, went to vivo city.. took cab.
ahahah.. had dinner which was at Chicken Rice Shop..
sallihin's mom's treat..

after that..

the next day, it was yesterday, monday...

went to bugis and met mont..
went to Wallwork Studio..
Nick Chan was already waiting for us..

passed him the 2 tracks that i'm going to contribute for the Noise Singapore CD..
1st track is entitled My Name Is... and i rerecord the 3 verses and also one part of the chorus..
and the sound quality during recording was so good, i was very impressed..

the 2nd track is Fake Emcees.. but in malay lah of course..
figured that it'll be perfect for the album.. one english and one malay track..

ouh ya, did i mentioned that Hady Mirza came right after my recording at Wallwork?
he also got a scheduled recording at Nick's studio on the same day yesterday..

i've been kinda busy with this and that and yea it's stressful of course..

after a long while i met gunesh just now and we relive our old days by going to yishun and played counter strike at the arcade..

happy ORD to some friends of mine who ORD today..

gonna meet the rest of them later on at yishun as our senior medics and also the MO gonna treat us to lunch at Swensens..
well, as much as i hate Swensens becoz of obvious reasons, i just had to come over it for today as it might be the last time i see them before they continue with their other things..

so yea..
i will of course take a video of later on and will post it online..

talking bout videos, yall might have noticed that i've been posting videos alot online and some of it is not even necessary but read this, it's MY blog and i can do whatever i like.

tomorrow is Popcorn Playa 3.
really nervous and i dont know what's gonna happen the whole day tomorrow.
well of course we've already planned on what to do and all that lah but i'm just typing in general.

yesterday was the gathering for all the Noise Apprentices and i assure yall that the performance on March 2009 at the Esplanade will be wonderful.
did i mentioned that i'm the only rap artiste for the Apprentice program?

right after yesterday's gathering, met up with the rest at Youth Park.
got my sponsored cap, tshirt and whatnots..
well the tshirt dont fit me when i wear it at home so i think i gotta change it tomorrow before popcorn..

later today also, gonna meet up with chantelle as she wanna show me the video that she took during my performance at the Esplanade..

yesterday was really a packed day for me..

woke up early in the morning to get to Padang for the Standard Chartered event as i was performing together with Mr Chan, Nas and DualFlavas..

there were 3 types of performances lah.. walking around with speakers and a microphone and basically "busking" and also the performance on stage..
the stage's speakers were awesome of course..
had fun performing..
not forgettin the spreading of legs, bananas and stretching..
ahahaha..

aight aight..

so after the whole thing, went to Peninsula to have lunch..

met up with fiky after that.. went to *Scape..
got the tv interview with SuriaChannel and then i had to leave early for Bukit Gombak as there's my cousin's wedding..

little did i knew that he was marrying Fatimah Mohsin..
oh yes..
if u recognize the name, she's the wedding agency owner or somethin like that..
eventhough the groom side is at the void deck, it was still grand..
they came late due to the fact that they had to entertain the bride side where there's so many artistes and actors and actresses who came..

of course there's some famous actors and actresses at the bukit gombak venue of the wedding.

so yea..
when the whole family reached home, i was tired..
slept early and woke up quite late just now in the morning..
bout 1030am..
now feeling fresh..

i wanna upload some pics but i guess i'm just too lazy..

anyways, jid will be enlisting to National Service tomorrow..

yesterday was dope.

and an interview might happen..

it was 8th December 2006. the day i got enlisted to Pulau Tekong to serve the nation.

friends and families sent me to tekong..
for about 5 days, i literally cried before going to sleep.
i wasnt used to the whole regimental life thingy.. so yea.. yall can imagine how..
but after those 5 days, i got used to it and eventually i like it.
believe it or not..

i was posted to Kestrel Company.. met new friends.. some old friends too..
for about 3 months, i was in tekong.. lose weight.. gain confidence..

i was in platoon 3.. section 3.. bed 13.. basically, K3313..

after 3 months like that, passed out from tekong and got into medic course..
i was shocked at first to get that vocation but as time goes by, i was actually proud to be a medic.
yes.. i'm proud.

again, at the medic course, met new friends.. learn the basic medical skills..
and what's important, i learnt CPR..

i passed out from the medic course and got posted to Khatib Camp.
23SA..
as a combat medic.
the term combat also made me proud.. lol..somehow..

being in the unit too, i get to go to different countries for training..
the first place i went to was New Zealand..
great experience.. unforgettable...

over there too, i met new friends..

well actually when i was posted to the unit, i met new friends also...

so the next country that i get to go to was Thailand..
i forgot to mention that my friends or brothers from DaFam also sent me to the airport for these overseas trips i had..
love them.

thailand was fun. i love the shopping there.. i learnt some basic thai words..
and i can count from 1 to 10 in thai..
ahahaha..
and i do learnt some good and bad words too..

i spent about 2 weeks in thailand..
of course i miss singapore and families and friends..
but i do enjoy myself when i was in thailand..

the last country that i went to was actually recently..
from 6th november till 17th november..
went to India..
and yes i celebrated my birthday there together with friends..
and it was one hell of a night..
ahahha..

so yea..
right after i got back from india.. i was already in the ORD mood..
why? becoz it was less than a month left..

and come to think of it, 2 years is not so long..
so for those who's going to be enlisted or is already in national service right now, dont think too much..
it's not that bad..
ur doing ur country and urself a favour..

so be proud..
